Learning Design Coach

Hello and welcome!  Thank you for taking the time to get to know me.  I was born in El Paso, Texas, but moved to San Jose, California when I was a child.  From there I attended CSU, Chico, earning my Bachelor's Degree and bilingual teaching credential.  I then taught for a year in South Lake Tahoe, California before moving to Sacramento/Elk Grove area.  I taught for the Elk Grove Unified School District for 13 years in 2nd and 3rd grade.  I also earned my Master's degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment from Walden University in 2006.   My husband and I, with our two children, moved to Round Rock in the summer of 2012. For 3 years I taught at Annie Purl Elementary in 1st and 2nd grades.  In 2015, I started teaching 5th grade at Williams Elementary.  I am so happy to be a part of Purl as the Learning Design Coach.
